Flatulent dyspepsia is usually due to functional disorder.
H. Pylori inf. Seen in many as 30% cases of dyspepsia.

Diagnostic criteria
 Rome ||| criteria 4 functional dyspepsia
at least 3 mnt, wit onset at 6 mnt previously, of one or more of the folloing
 - bothersome postprandial fullness
 - early satiation
 - epigastic pain
 - epigastic burning
 - no evidence of structural disease.
